I’m Elsa Pla, a writer, artist, and licensed Science and Language Arts teacher with an MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults from Vermont College of Fine Arts. I love poems and stories because of the beauty, wisdom, and power they impart, and I enjoy sharing my love of words and the writing craft with others.
The Write Town is the place where I share thoughts on writing, writing exercises and explorations in different modes and genres, and anything else having to do with writing and the writing life.
“The key word is love. You have to get up in the morning and write something you love, something to live for.” –Ray Bradbury
“Love the writing, love the writing, love the writing… the rest will follow.” Jane Yolen
